Thanks for this great tool. Here some questions:
1) Is it possible to integrate other Boinc projects and if the mouse is put over the current position of the extension a popup, like "download ready" or "new messages" appears and displays all projects and credits
2) If it is possible to integrate other projects, only the recent updated project is shown in the corner. Maybe with projectname
3) Is it possible to use the TeamID instead the userID?
I don't know whether this is executable?!

Hi Pegasus,
You must have v0.3.5, I posted an updated version (0.3.6) this morning. It may take a while before the mozdev mirrors have all been refreshed. Check again soon.
Thanks.

Do you suppose you could do a Folding@Home version? I do know that Stanford doesn't want people to go directly to the main HTML stat servers to avoid slowing it down, and want you to go here for the text version. Would that make it impossible to do?
I know that www.statgfx.com offers the kind of stats counters that you insert into the post, and they use the txt file for their folding stats sig, but I looked in their forums but they don't tell how to access it, unless you could get the URL & permission from them.
It sounds like a neat idea for us Folding@Home users, and lacking the needed Javascript knowledge, I'm asking you! Thanks for looking at this.

Hi Craig,
You can download and freely use the code for my extension, and change it to your needs.
You could then share it with other Folding@Home users.
I'd be happy to help with any questions you may have about my code, plus there is an active support group for Project Owners etc..

Stefan:
It is possible. You could very easily take my code and modify it to your needs. Currently, I only have one or two machines still churning out units for Classic, so I don't have much interest in the stats myself.
ZOC:
Using my current code as a base, you'll probably just need to determine what the URL is for an HTML page that displays the stats you're interested in, determine what parameters you need, and change the various RegEx match strings to pull out the data you're interested in.
Thanks to you both.

Hi spacespeed,
Unfortunately, I don't support this extension under Mozilla, just Firefox...I'm surprised it even installed...
However, I did a little research...though you can install the extension, there is no way (currently) to get to the options dialog, and no way to uninstall it.
I did find an extension at that proports to provide a way to uninstall extensions for Mozilla. If after reading the rest of this message you decide to try this, I won't take it personally :)...I also don't know if it will work or trash your system. So use at your own risk.
On the bright side, you don't need the Options dialog to configure the SAHUserStats extension, you can enter in the configuration info via the "about:config" page.
The most important key is:
sahuserstats.accountNumber
It's a string, set it to your account number.
The other three keys available are:
sahuserstats.display
The available settings are: average, both or total.
sahuserstats.updateFrequency
The lowest value allowed is 0.5. It's in hours.
The last setting is:
sahuserstats.timeFormat24hr
It's a boolean, true or false.
Be careful adding/changing settings in your Mozilla environment...you could probably mess things up if you made a mistake.
Hope this helps.

This extension doesn't work correctly for me. Most of the time it stubbornly reports "Data Unavailable", but there was another similar error I've also observed. This in spite of the fact that I've entered my correct account number, as demonstrated by the fact that left-clicking in its status-bar space takes me straight to the current stats for my account!
You might have a bug you're not addressing, guys.

There's been another annoying typo change made by SETI ("Total Credit" instead of "Total credit") which breaks this extension.
I have fixed it with my local copy, so when I get a moment I will repackage it (and make a fix for FF 1.5 compatibility) and then publish it on Extensions Mirror.

Contact me directly if you'd like to become a coder on this project. I've been really bogged down, and have no time for this project at the moment.
Someone else has also done the work for v1.5, but the change does include a fix for changes to the SETI HTML.
I would welcome help from the community to keep this code up-to-date.
Thanks.
